BSMRAU Observes National Mourning Day
15th August’19 the 44rd death anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning day was observed at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University with due respect and solemnity. On the occasion an elaborated programs have been chalked out which were included: hoisting of national flag at half-mast, wearing black badges, mourning rally, placing floral wreath. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Giashuddin Miah placed floral wreath at University’s Bangabandhu’s Mural first. Then different Halls, Gonotantrik teachers association, Gonotantrik Officers association, Gonotantrik Employees association and university school also placed floral wreath. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Giashuddin Miah inaugurated the newly build ‘Bangabandhu Corner’ at the university’s library. All deans, Directors, Provosts, Proctor, Registrar, other faculty members, students, officers and employees were presents on the occasion. After Zohr prayer Qurankhani, Milad Mahfil and special Doa also offered at the University central Mosque.
