Candidates for admission to MS program must have a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural disciplines from BSMRAU or a recognized university or institution or an equivalent degree from a recognized university or institution, relevant to the desired subject of specialization. The university Equiva­lence Committee shall assess the eligibility of the candidates with Bachelor of Science in Agricul­ture or, equivalent degree obtained from other than BSMRAU. The Admission Committee shall assess the candidates recom­mended by the department.

An in-service candidate must submit an evidence of leave/deputation obtained from the employer along with the application for admission. If a candidate is selected for admission must submit neces­sary clearance and leave of absence or deputation initially for 12 months from the employer within the first term of admission.

A candidate who left the university with ‘F’ grade or cumulative GPA below 3.0 (three) is not eligible to apply for admission.
