GIS and remote sensing Laboratory at BSMRAU has an excellent capacity both in term of human resource and infrastructure. Research work includes geostatistical analysis, satellite image processing using different machine learning algorithms and modeling. The LAB. has a space of 500 square meters. Expense covered by the institution includes salaries for the faculty member and researcher. Utilities and annual maintenance of Lab facilities and equipment are covered by the University’s annual budget. Student’s stipend is maintained by research funding. Separate office spaces are available for the faculty members and guest/ visiting researchers. Annual research grants/ seed grants are offered from the University’s research management committee.
