Mr. Md. Tanbir Rubayet was born on 1st July 1986 at the village of Borogaon under Thakurgaon Sadar upazila in Thakurgaon district of Bangladesh.
Mr. Rubayet passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination from Kachari Bazar High School and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination from Thakurgaon Govt. College under the Rajshahi Board, Bangladesh in 2002 and 2004, respectively. Then, In 2008 and 2010 he completed Bachelor of Science in Agriculture [BS (Agriculture)] and Master of Science in Plant Pathology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), Bangladesh and obtained the GPA 3.93 and 4.0, respectively out of 4 scales.
After that, Mr. Rubayet started his service in 2013 as a Scientific Officer in the Rice Farming Systems Division, Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI), Gazipur-1701, Bangladesh, www.brri.gov.bd. In 2015, he was appointed as a Lecturer in the Department of Plant Pathology, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), Gazipur-1706, Bangladesh. Then, he was promoted to Assistant professor in 2017 and Associate Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology, BSMRAU, Bangladesh in 2022.
Mr. Rubayet is a member of Bangladesh Association for the Advancement of Science (BAAS), Bangladesh Phytopathological Society (BPS) and Krishibid Institution of Bangladesh (KIB).
