Dr. Md. Rabiul Auwul is currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Statistics at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University. He was working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at American International University-Bangladesh. He studied at Guangzhou University to pursue his PhD degree in Statistics. His PhD thesis is ‘Robust Statistical Machine-Learning Approaches in Transcriptomics Data Analysis. Before doing his PhD, he received a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) and Masters of Science in Statistics from Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, Bangladesh. He is a prominent Statistician with extensive experience in robust statistical modelling in multi-disciplinary environments who knows how to apply robust statistics in science as well as in various Engineering fields. He has 14 published international journals (five are in Q1 journals including, Briefings in Bioinformatics: IF-13.994) and more than four papers are under review. He is a reviewer of several top international journals including, Computers in Biology and Medicine, Bioinformatics, Current Bioinformatics, Annals of Operation Research and Informatics in Medicine Unlocked. He is an editorial board member of the Biomedical Statistics and Informatics journal. He is collaborating with researchers from several countries including Australia, the USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, China and Bangladesh. His research interests include Data Mining, Robust Statistics, Supervised and Unsupervised Machine learning, System Biology, Transcriptomics study and Bioinformatics.
