  2. “Harnessing the potentials of hill agriculture: enhancing crop production through sustainable management of natural resources”. 2013-2020. (PI: Dr. Mohammad Saiful Alam from 2019-2020, Dept. of Soil Science, BSMRAU), Source of fund:  Krishi Gobeshona Foundation (KGF)
  3. “Heavy Metal in the Industrial Polluted Area: Spatial Distribution, Risk Assessment and Bacterial Biogeography of Contaminated Soils”. 2017-2018. (PI: Dr. Mohammad Saiful Alam. Co P.I Professor Dr. GKM Mustafizur Rahman Dept. of Soil Science, BSMRAU) Source of fund: National Agricultural Technology Program: Phase II Project, BARC.
  4.  “Enhanced growth and yield of rice by Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacterial inoculation” 2015-2018 (PI: Professor Dr. ARM Solaiman, Dept. of Soil Science, BSMRAU. Co P.I.: Dr. Mohammad Saiful Alam) Source of fund: Ministry of Education, GOB:  Under this project plant growth promoting bacteria will be isolated, characterized and their performance on growth and yield of rice will be evaluated.
  5. Adaptation of Improved Soil Fertility Management Practices for Variable Soil Conditions Under Intensively Cropping Systems, 2015-2018 (Coordinator: Professor Dr. G.K.M Mustafizur Rahman, Dept. of Soil Science, BSMRAU. Co P.I.: Dr. Mohammad Saiful Alam) Source of fund: Krishi Gobeshona Foundation (KGF): A holistic and systematic adaptive research approach is undertaken to upgrade farmers’ knowledge for sustaining soil health and crop productivity.
  6. Influence of long term field fertilization (organic and chemical) on soil properties and crop yields (as P.I. during the period of 2014-2015) Source of fund: BSMRAU endowment fund): The study was carried out in a long-term experimental field to quantify the chemical, physical and biological properties of soil and determine the effect of long term manuring on yield performance of T.aman rice and wheat.
