Munny Akter was born on 02 October, 1990 in the village of Habibpur, in the district of Gazipur, Bangladesh. She passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in 2005 from Ansar V.D.P High School, Gazipur; and the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination of 2007 from the Gazipur Cantonment College, Gazipur.  She obtained B.S. Ag (Hons.) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Gazipur in 2012 and also she obtained MS in Agromony in 2015 from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Gazipur.
