Welcome to the Department of Horticulture at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU). The Department of Horticulture takes pride in its rich history, being one of the oldest and largest departments within the Faculty of Agriculture. Since its establishment in 1983, our department has been dedicated to excellence in both academic pursuits and research endeavors. We offer a comprehensive range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, providing students with a solid foundation in horticultural science and equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the field.
Our team of experienced and dedicated faculty members are committed to fostering a supportive learning environment and guiding students towards academic and professional success. Through innovative teaching methods and hands-on experiences, we aim to inspire a passion for horticulture and empower students to make meaningful contributions to the agricultural sector.
In addition to academic excellence, research is a cornerstone of our department’s mission.
