Welcome to the Department of Soil Science
The main aim of this department is to deliver high class teaching and conduct different important research in the field of soil science. The department of Soil Science offers courses for undergraduate program as well as graduate programs leading to M.S and Ph.D. degrees. The department has major programs in physical, chemical and biological aspects of soil management. There are six well equipped laboratories in this department. The laboratories of this department are enriched with sophisticated analytical instruments such as atomic absorption spectrophotometer, gas-chromatograph, aggregate analyzer, pressure plate apparatus etc. for advanced research works and practical.
