Dr. Sandip Mitra is an agricultural economist whose research preferences are consumer research, financial analysis, productivity, efficiency, livelihood development and profitability of farmers. He has a notable track record of making excellent publications in different international journals. He has published 22 papers in various international journals, ten of which have an impact factor. The total number of citations for those publications is 295. Aside from that, he has successfully finished two projects that were funded by the Research Management Committee, BSMRAU. Currently, He is serving as a principal investigator of a research project funded by Research Management Committee, BSMRAU. For his exceptional research achievements in the years 2020 and 2021, he was given the BSMRAU-TA Award in 2020 and 2021. He is an honorary member of the North American Association of Fisheries Economists (NAAFE).
