Team from AERD became champion in HULT on-campus round

“Changing the World Throw Social Enterprise”, with this motto, Hult Prize on Campus Final 2021 round was organized at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University. This year’s theme was ‘Redesigning Fashion’. The final with the top 5 teams among 18 teams was held in the auditorium of the university campus. ‘The Sustain Style’ team is the best in the competition by concentrating their idea on agricultural products. The members of the team were from AERD 9th batch.

The team is the best among BS and MS students by pitching the idea to create environmentally friendly fabrics from banana fibres.

Honourable Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr Md. Ghiyasuddin Mia was the chief guest and Treasurer Professor Tofayel Ahmed was the special guest. Director of Student Welfare, Professor Dr Mahbubur Rahman presided over the meeting. Dr Md. Abiyar Rahman, Director (IQAC)  gave the welcome speech.

Hult Prize is a competition for students, accepted to a Nobel Prize fame that has been working to fulfil social reforms and SDGs through various innovative ideas. It is being organized worldwide.
