Digital Herbarium website Opens at BSMRAU
The opening of digital herbarium of crop plants website and certificate giving ceremony of three day long from 8 – 10 Feb.’16 training program on photography and videography on crop plants held today (26 April Tuesday) at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University auditorium. Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbubar Rahman Vice-Chancellor of the university was present as chief guest and opened the website (www.dhcrop.bsmrau.net) and distribute the certificates among the trainees. Prof. Dr. Md. Is mail Hossain Mian Treasurer of the university was present as special guest and Prof. Dr. Qazi Abdul Khaliq Dean, Faculty of Agriculture was present as guest of honor. Prof. Dr. Tofazzal Hossain Head, UAIFS & Director (Pl. & Dev.) was chair the ceremony. Prof. Dr. Abdul Baset Mia, SPM. HEQEP, Sub Project and Dept. of Crop Botany delivered the welcome address. Md. Anamul Haque, Consultant, S2 package presented the Website and e-Learning portal. The program organized by `Establishment of Digital Herbarium and Herbal Museum for Improving Academic and Research Capability in Crop Botany’ Dept. of Crop Botany, BSMRAU and HEQEP.
