Biography
Md. Dhin Islam was born on 2nd August, 1990 in the village of Betmary under Sherpur district of Dhaka division in Bangladesh. He completed his secondary education from Baruamary J. K. High School, Jamalpur during 2006 and Higher Secondary education from Nandina Sheikh Anwar Hossain College, Jamalpur during 2008. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, BS (Agriculture) and Master of Science (MS) in Soil Science degree in 2012 and 2015 from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), Gazipur securing CGPA 3.97 and 4.00 out of 4.00 respectively. He secured second highest CGPA in BS (Agriculture) and first highest CGPA in MS (Soil Science) from the faculty of Agriculture and Graduate Studies respectively from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), Gazipur, Bangladesh. He awarded 8 times Merit Scholarship from BSMRAU at Honors (BS) education level and 3 times at Master education level during 2009-2012 and 2013-2014 respectively. He awarded National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship during 2013-14 for Masters (MS) research. He joined as a Lecturer at the Department of Soil Science in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) in October 27, 2016 and he has been promoted as an Assistant Professor in October 27, 2018 in the same department in same university and till now he is working as an Assistant Professor in the same university. He was awarded prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship in 2019 for doing PhD in Soil Science at University of Aberdeen,UK.
