Celebrates International Mother Language Day

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) observed the International Mother Language Day with due respects and solemnity on the University campus. To mark the day an elaborated program also chalked out on 21 Feb’16. The programs were: Hoisting the national flag at half-mast, wearing black badges, Provat feri, offering floral wreath at the University Shaheed Minar and Bangabandhu’s Mural, discussion program, special doa at the University central Mosque after Zahr prayer.

Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbubar Rahman placed the floral wreath at the Shaheed Minar and Bangabandhu’s Mural. Students-provosts of the different dormitories, Gognotrantik Officers Association, Employees Association and university school also offered the floral wreaths. At that time Treasurer of the University Prof. Dr. Md. Ismail Hossain Mian, Registrar Prof. Dr. Qazi Abdul Khaliq and faculty members were present.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbubar Rahman discussed as a chief guest while Director (Students Affairs) Prof. Dr. M. Mofazzal Hossain was presided over the discussion program. Students, faculty members, officers & employees were present at that time.
