BSMRAU Organises Seminar on Aquaculture

A seminar titled ‘Live Food in Aquaculture of Bangladesh’ was held at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) on August 23, 2017. Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Md. Giashuddin Miah  was present at the seminar as the  Chief Guest, while Professor Dr. Md. Amzad Hossain, Head, Department of Aquaculture acted as Chairman. Prof. Dr. A.K.M. Aminul Islam, Director (Research) and Prof. Dr. Abu Sadeque Md. Selim, Director (P&D) were present as special guests.  Prof. Dr. Md. Amzad Hossain presented the keynote paper on “Present Status and Prospect of Live Food in Aquaculture of Bangladesh.” Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Hossain, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Noakhali Science and Technology University presented his paper on “Rotifer Culture”, while Prof. Dr. Ahsan Bin Habib from Bangladesh Agricultural University presented another paper on “Spirulina Culture”.  Deans, Directors and senior professors of the university, teachers of Fisheries Faculty and Post-graduate students of Aquaculture Department were present in the Seminar.
