BSMRAU observes Independence & National day

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) observed the 46th Independence & National day with due respects and solemnity and festive mode at the University campus.
To mark the day, an elaborated programs have been chalked out which included, hoisting the national flag and march past at dawn, offering floral wreath, discussion meeting, sports & children’s art competition and special prayer at the University’s central mosque.
On behalf of the University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbubar Rahman placed floral wreaths at the Mural of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and sculpture of Joy bangla. Students-teachers of different halls, Gonotantrik officers association, employees association and university school also placed floral wreaths.
Treasurer Prof. Dr. Md. Ismail Hossain Mian, Prof. Dr. M. Mofazzal Hossain Director (Students Welfare), Registrar, Prof. Dr. Qazi Abdul Khaliq and others faculty members were present at that time.
A special prayer also offered after Zohr prayer at the university central Mosque.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbubar Rahman distributed the prizes among the participants of sports & children art competition. Faculty members, students, officers and employees were present at that time.
