BSMRAU observed Independence & National day 2019
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) observed the 49th Independence & National day with due respects and solemnity and festive mode at the University campus. To mark the day, an elaborated programs have been chalked out which included, hoisting the national flag and march past at dawn, singing National anthem, offering floral wreath, sports & children’s art competition and special prayer at the University’s central mosque. On behalf of the University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Giashuddin Miah placed floral wreaths at the Mural of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and sculpture of ‘Joy Bangla’. Students-teachers of different halls, officers, employees and university school also placed floral wreaths. Prof. Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin Director (Students Welfare), Faculty Deans, Registrar, and others faculty members were present at that time.In the morning, sports competition, children art competition was held at the university premises. A special prayer also offered after Zohr prayer at the university central Mosque. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Giashuddin Miah distributed the prizes among the participants of sports & children art competition. Faculty members, students, officers and employees were present at that time.
