Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University Observes Bangabandhu’s Birth Day

Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s 100th birthday and the National Children’s Day (today 17th March’19) was observed at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University with due respect and festive mood. On this occasion an elaborated programs have been chalked out which included rally, placing floral wreaths, children’s’ arts & essay writing competition, photo exhibition and discussion program.

On behalf of the University the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Giashuddin Miah placed a floral wreath at the Bangabandhu’s Mural. Students-teachers of university school also placed floral wreaths at the Bangabandhu’s Mural. A special prayer also offered after Zohr prayer at the university central Mosque.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Giashuddin Miah distributed the prizes among the winners. Treasurer Prof. Tofayel Ahamed, Faculty members, students, officers and employees were present at that time.
