Atia Sharmin Ame is a faculty member of the Department of Rural Development at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), Gazipur-1706, Bangladesh. Possessing a robust educational background, she attained her Master of Science (MS) degree in Rural Sociology from Bangladesh Agricultural University in 2019, following her earlier achievement of a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Agricultural Economics from BSMRAU, Gazipur in 2017. Her academic journey is marked by scholarly vigor, exemplified notably through her master’s thesis which delved into the intricate intersections of reproductive health, ethnicity, and social networks. Recognizing her scholarly merit, Atia Sharmin Ame was bestowed with the prestigious National Science and Technology Fellowship (NST) conferred by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. Her scholarly pursuits are not confined to the realms of academia but extend fervently towards field-level engagements, epitomizing a holistic commitment to scholarly inquiry and societal betterment.
