Atia Sharmin Ame is a member of the academic staff of the Department of Rural Development at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), Gazipur-1706, Bangladesh. She has a strong education professional with Master of Science (MS) in Rural Sociology from Bangladesh Agricultural University in 2019 and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Agricultural Economics from BSMRAU, Gazipur in 2017. Her master thesis focused on the areas of reproductive health, ethnicity and social networks; and obtained National Science and Technology Fellowship (NST) granted by Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. Mrs. Ame is inclined to apply her academic knowledge in field-level research on ‘Rural Health’, ‘Ethnic Community’, ‘Gender Studies’, ‘Poverty related Research’, and SDG’s.
