Life Sketch
Musrat Zahan Surovy was born on 01 October, 1990 in the village of Marialy, in the district of Gazipur, Bangladesh. She passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in 2005 securing CGPA 5.00 from Joydebpur Government Girls High School, Gazipur; and the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination of 2007 also securing CGPA 5.00 from the Gazipur Government Womens College, Gazipur. She obtained B. S. Ag (Hons.) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Gazipur with CGPA 3.98 (Out of 4.00; 2nd position) in 2011 and also she obtained MS in Biotechnology in 2014 securing 4.00 (Out of 4.00; 1st position) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Gazipur.
Mrs. Surovy currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), Gazipur, Bangladesh from 21 January to till now. She started her service as a lecturer in the same Department from 21 January, 2016 to 20 January, 2018. She is life member of The Bangladesh Association for the Advancement of Science (BAAS), member of Krishibid Institution of Bangladesh, American society of Microbiology etc.
