Nurunnaher Akter was born on 03 October, 1986 in the village of Chingary in the district of Bagerhat, Bangladesh. She passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in 2002 securing GPA 4.75 out of 5.00 from Gazipur Cantonment Board High School, Gazipur; and the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination in 2004 securing GPA 4.50 out of 5.00 from Gazipur Cantonment Board College, Gazipur. She obtained BS in Agriculture in 2008 securing GPA 3.91 out of 4.00 from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), Gazipur; and MS in Agronomy in 2010 from BSMRAU obtaining GPA 4.00 out of 4.00.
Nurunnaher Akter was appointed as a Lecturer in the Department of Agronomy in 01 July, 2012 in BSMRAU, Gazipur. Miss Akter has a communicative skill both in Bangla and English. Miss Akter is a member of Bangladesh Agronomy Society, Bangladesh Association for the Advancement of Science (BAAS), Krishibid Institution of Bangladesh etc.
