Dr. Murshida Khan

Dr. Murshida Khan is an Professor of the Department of Fisheries Technology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Bangladesh. She obtained her B.Sc. (Hons.) in Fisheries and M.S. in Fisheries Technology from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh. She was awarded BHEARD (Borlaug Higher Education for Agricultural Research and Development Program Fellowship (4 years) for doctoral research at Louisiana State University, USA. She successfully completed her PhD in Fisheries and Aquaculture from Louisiana State University, USA.  Murshida Khan started her service on 9th May 2010 as a Lecturer in the Department of Fisheries Technology at Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU), Bangladesh. Then on 6th April 2011, she joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Fisheries Technology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), Gazipur. Her current research focuses on quality degradation of fish and fishery products.
