Dr. Md. Mamunur  Rahman   

 Professor
Dr. Md. Mamunur Rahman is serving as a Professor in the Department of Entomology with 15 years of academic experiences in the field of Entomology. He served as Head of the Department of Entomology & also as a  Head in the Department of Biochemicstry & Molecular Biology of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University. Dr. Rahman joined in this university in 2008 and has since been working as a faculty member. He was also engaged in academic activites in Agrotechnology Discipline of Khulna University since 2007. Dr. Rahman is currently emphasizing his research thrusts on molecular phylogeny, haplotype networking with reference to the evolutionary systematics of social insects. He is also working on Apiculture towards developing honey authentication techniques and migratory beekeeping. Dr. Rahman is keen to conduct his academics and research on the applicaton of next generation sequencing, nanotechnology and insect pest modeling for climate smart pest management approaches in Agriculture. He is the author of several time demanding entomological scientific articles in specialized international journals and has contributed in different scientific conferences in USA, Japan and Sri Lanka.
