Hasina Sultana is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Horticulture of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) Since 2016. She was born on December 31, 1985 in Jamalpur District, Bangladesh. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons) and Master of Science in Horticulture from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Gazipur, Bangladesh in 2008 and 2011, respectively. She started her career as a scientist in the Rice Farming Systems Division, Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI), Gazipur-1701, Bangladesh in 2013 and subsequently changed her career to academician at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) in 2016. She has published 8 research articles in different national and international peer-reviewed journals. She is keen to conduct research on improvement of fruit and spices (using both conventional and biotechnological approaches), plant tissue culture, etc.
