Dr. Muhammad Badruzzaman was born on July 1, 1978 in Jamalpur District, Bangladesh.  He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and MS in Biochemistry degrees from Bangladesh Agricultural University, securing First class in both the classes.

He was joined as a lecturer, Department of Biochemistry, Bangamata Sheikh Fajilatunnesa Mujib Science and Technology University,  on August 2, 2003. After that, he was joined as an Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry, Sylhet Agricultural University, Sylhet,  on April, 2008 and appointed again as an Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Gazipur, on April, 2011. He awarded Monbukagakusho Scholarship for his doctoral degree in Japan, 2011. Dr. Badruzzaman obtained his PhD. degree in 2014 from University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa, Japan. After complete his PhD. he appointed as an Associate Professor and Head in the same Department  on November, 2015-2017 and again appointed as Head from 2017-2019. Recently, Dr. Zaman appointed as an professor position on January, 2020.

Dr. Zaman published a good number of research articles in top ranking international journals under publishers Elsevier, Science, Springer etc.
