Graduation day 2017 held at BSMRAU
The graduation day of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) for the students of Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) 9th batch, Bachelor of Science (Fisheries) 5th batch, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine & Animal Science (DVM) 2nd batch and BS (Agricultural Economics) 1st batch was held today (on Tuesday 19 September’17) at the University auditorium. University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Giashuddin Miah was present as Chief Guest. The Vice-Chanceljlor distributed a memento of the University and provisional certificate to the graduate students. He expressed congratulations to the newly graduate students and formally announced the result of BS (Agriculture), BS (Fisheries), DVM and BS (Agricultural Economics).
Earlier Prof. Dr. M. Moynul Haque Dean Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Md. Zahangir Alam Dean Faculty of Fisheries, Prof. Dr. Md. Morshedur Rahman Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine & Animal Science and Prof. Dr. M. Kamruzzaman Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Extension & Rural Development (AERD) formally handed over the results of BS (Agriculture), BS (Fisheries), Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and BS (Agricultural Economics) to the Vice-Chancellor, respectively. Registrar Syed Zahurul Amin also delivered the welcome address. Student Abu Sayeed Md. Hasibuzzaman BS (Agriculture), Md. Foisul Hossain BS (Fisheries), Mst. Umme Habiba of DVM and Saida Akter Jui BS (Agricultural Economics) achieved the highest GPA and expressed their feelings. A total of 79 students of BS (Agriculture), 21 students of BS (Fisheries), 13 students of DVM and 16 students of BS (Agricultural Economics) were conferred with their degree on the graduation ceremony. The graduation day started with a colorful rally with the participants of Vice-Chancellor BSMRAU, graduate students and faculty members of the university.
