Celebrates Bangabandhu’s Birth Day (National Children’s Day)

The 97th birthday of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children’s Day (today 17th March’16) was observed at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University with due respect and festive mood. On this occasion elaborated programs have been chalked out which included rally, placing floral wreaths, children’s’ beautiful hand writing & essay writing competition.
On behalf of the University the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Mahbubar Rahman placed floral wreath at the Bangabandhu’s Mural. Treasurer Prof. Dr. Md. Ismail Hossain Mian, Prof. Dr. M. Mofazzal Hossain Director (Students Welfare), Registrar, Prof. Dr. Qazi Abdul Khaliq and others faculty members were present at that time.
Students-teachers of different halls, Gonotantrik officers association, employees association and university school also placed floral wreaths at the Bangabandhu’s Mural. A special prayer also offered after Zohr prayer at the university central Mosque.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbubar Rahman distributed the prizes among the winners of hand writing & essay writing competition. Faculty members, students, officers and employees were present at that time.
